Brains or Brawn?

so here is a topic i decided to write on. if i were to choose between being very brilliant or being very strong which one will i choose? hmmmm.... let me think. firstly lets look at each one of these very carefully:

Brains?

it would be kinda awesome if i were intelligent. seriously. if i were that smart i don't even have to worry about the results cause i know i'll always and definitely get good results. i'll make my parents proud. who knows maybe if i was that smart i'll even get myself a scholarship! that would be sooooo cool. however if i was soooo smart, would i truly have real friends? i don't know. maybe? there is always a chance of them just pretending to be your friends in hoping you're gonna finish their homeworks. seriously think about this. on your first day of school, you meet new people. suddenly, you see a very nerdy looking person. some people would not even take a second glance at him/her. but every time a test was done, (not surprising) he/she always get first place. and who are we kidding, adults only see us something not worthwhile unless we are super smart or so. till then keep your opinions to yourself. so the so-called friends know how much results the results are worth. so not having the brains themselves, having the brains as their 'friends' is like the next best thing.

Brawn?

being physically incredible is kinda incredible (for guys). i mean yeah you're super strong and have all kind of muscles. girls would go for that kinda guys. in their eyes you're like the shield, always there protecting them. heck, you're just like a bodyguard. people will stay out of your way. some people might even be tooo scared to even cross your path. things would be easier. high school would be easier. no more bullies, or you yourself can be the one doing the bullying. guys will have their respect for you and girls will just be all over you. but it all will be tiring one day. they're all just superficial people. once you're no longer brawny and tough they're long gone.



so what will I choose? seriously if i were given the power to choose for myself i'll definitely choose brains. i'm a girl what do i need with being all that brawny anywhere? being smart is awesome. i can learn and understand faster. i can absorb more. but if i were to choose between brains and a good personality, i'd choose good personality. people will always be true to you. they really like you for who you really are and they just love being around you. you are very likely to be happy.

but who are we kidding. the only way for us to be truly happy is just by being grateful for the things that we have and for the things that we don't. (here's an idea how about being brains and brawn?!) ^_^
